Event details
- Sunday | April 4, 2021
- 10:00 am
The weather looks promising for our first outdoor worship gathering this year on Easter Sunday, April 4, at 10 AM. We will celebrate Holy Communion during the service, when everyone will walk to a table to pick up your bread and cup, taking them back to your vehicles. We will then commune together on cue.
Pastor Steve will preach the second of a two-part message, “What a Week!” If you did not hear part one, he recommends that you listen to it before Sunday. It is accessible on this website home page.
A special event during our time together will be a “Gender Reveal” for the newly-expected member of their family, by Frankie, Joanna, & Eleanor Herr.
You are also invited to come between 9:30 and 10 AM for a simple Easter Breakfast, with individually-wrapped, handheld items that you can eat at your vehicle. We’ll also have coffee and cold drinks (be sure to bring a sippy cup for any young kids). Contact Amy Hoffman with any questions (717-341-1768).
Here are some simple guidelines for our Easter gathering:
– Please observe social distancing when outside your vehicle, and wear a mask except when eating breakfast or taking Communion.
– Bring lawn chairs if you want to sit outside rather than inside your vehicle for breakfast and/or the service.
– If anyone must use a restroom, please wait until it is unoccupied.
– Children are not permitted to use the playground.
– Continue to send any offerings to Zion in the manner you currently use for giving. No offering will be collected. You may hand an offering to a leader.
What a wonderful way for our Zion Church family to celebrate Resurrection Day together! Contact any one of us with any questions.
God bless,
The Ministry Team
